Client consultation to understand preferences, aesthetics, and constraints.

Overall design creation including:

3-D renderings (examples here) prior to and/or after architectural plans, to help visualize space;

Collaboration with architect and/or structural engineers;

Space planning, i.e. maximizing the layout and proper flow of space.

Selection of tiles, counters, cabinets, lighting fixtures, mirrors, faucet/shower fixtures, paint colors, door hardware and lights.

Additional selections of windows, moldings, garage doors, doors, light switch placement, railings, shower enclosure, toilets, sinks, tubs, balcony rails, house siding, gutters, roofing material in coordination with the contractor.

Custom element design (see a kitchen hood design example here); help with any creative vision that you want to bring to life.

Consultation on home furnishings, i.e. rugs, furniture, accessories/decor, window treatments.

Collaboration with contractors.

Attendance of all contractor meetings as needed.

Partnership with specialists and other trades.

Japanese garden design.

Personally hand-chosen stones and boulders for landscape design.

Collaboration with arborists or landscape designers.
